In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 and move [in their orbits] with steady motion, 2 By the lone stars floating, 3 and those that outstrip suddenly 4 And by those angels who arrange to do the Commands of their Lord, (so verily, you disbelievers will be called to account). 5 On the day when the trembling one will tremble. (The disbelievers will certainly taste the punishment.) 6 The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be raised up), 7 hearts will throb on that Day 8 and their eyes will be humbled. 9 The disbelievers say, “Will we really return to our former state?” 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 [And] they add, "That, then, would be a return with loss!" 12 But all it will take is a single blast, 13 and lo, they will all be in the open plain. 14 Hath there come unto thee the history of Moses? 15 How his Lord called him in the holy vale of Tuwa, 16 and directed him: “Go to Pharaoh, he has rebelled, 17 and say: "Will you purify yourself, 18 [If so,] then I shall guide thee towards [a cognition of] thy Sustainer, so that [henceforth] thou wilt stand in awe [of Him].'" 19 Then [Musa (Moses)] showed him the great sign (miracles). 20 Yet he belied and disobeyed. 21 Further, he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 Then he gathered and cried aloud, 23 And said, "I am your most exalted lord." 24 you pay attention 25 Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah]. 26
