The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By those who drag forth to destruction, 1 and those that blow gently, 2 By the lone stars floating, 3 By the angels hastening, 4 Then arrange to do (the Commands of their Lord), 5 The Day when the quaking will cause a violent convulsion, 6 The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be raised up), 7 Hearts on that day shall palpitate, 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 “When we have become decayed bones?” 11 [And] they add, "That, then, would be a return with loss!" 12 But all it will take is a single blast, 13 And lo! they will be awakened. 14 Has the story of Moses come to you 15 when his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go unto Pharaoh - for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of what is right 17 and say: "Will you purify yourself, 18 And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'" 19 So he showed him the mighty sign. 20 But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed. 21 Then he turned back striving. 22 And he gathered [his people] and called out 23 And proclaimed: "I (Pharaoh) am your Lord the Highest." 24 you pay attention 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26
