The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (angels) who tear out (the souls of the wicked) with violence; 1 And [by] those who remove with ease 2 And those who glide swimmingly, 3 Then press forward as in a race, 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 On the day when the first trumpet sound blasts 6 and will be followed by the second one, 7 Hearts, that Day, will tremble, 8 and their eyes shall be downcast with dread. 9 (The disbelievers) say, "Shall we be brought back to life again 10 Even after we are crumbled bones? 11 [And] they add, "That, then, would be a return with loss!" 12 But it shall be only a single scare, 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa! 15 When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go unto Pharaoh - for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of what is right 17 “Tell him ‘Do you have the inclination to become pure?’ 18 "'And that I guide thee to thy Lord, so thou shouldst fear Him?'" 19 Then Moses (went to Pharaoh and) showed him the Great Sign; 20 but he cried lies, and rebelled, 21 and hastily turned away, 22 and then he gathered [his great ones,] and called [unto his people,] 23 And said, "I am your most exalted lord." 24 you pay attention 25 Surely there is a great lesson in it for whoever would fear (Allah). 26
