He made it. 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 But how are you to know? 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
