Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Is it harder to create you or the heaven? But Allah built it, 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
