He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and then turned away 1 Because a blind man came to him. 2 How could you know? Perhaps he would cleanse himself, 3 or yet remember, and the Reminder profit him. 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 you eagerly attended to him -- 6 though you are not to be blamed if he would not purify himself -- 7 And for him who came to you striving, 8 And is also fearful (of God), 9 Of him wast thou unmindful. 10 NAY, VERILY, these [messages] are but a reminder: 11 Let him who will, pay heed to it. 12 Inscribed in Writs honoured, 13 Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy, 14 (Set down) by scribes 15 Noble, virtuous. 16 Be cursed (the disbelieving) man! How ungrateful he is! 17 From what stuff hath He created him? 18 From a sperm-drop: He hath created him, and then mouldeth him in due proportions; 19 Then doth He make His path smooth for him; 20 then He caused him to die and brought him to the grave, 21 Then He will raise him up again when He please. 22 Yet man declines to do His bidding. 23 Let man therefore consider (the sources of) his food. 24 how We pour down rain in abundance, 25 and let the earth to break open 26 and thereupon We cause grain to grow out of it, 27 And grapes and fodder, 28 and olive trees and date-palms, 29 and dense orchards, 30 And fruits and grasses: 31 A provision for you and your cattle. 32 AND SO, when the piercing call [of resurrection] is heard 33 On that day man will run away from his brother. 34 his mother, his father, 35 As well as his wife and children. 36 on that Day every man among them will have enough concern of his own -- 37 On that day faces will be bright as dawn, 38 laughing, joyous; 39 Some faces on that Day shall be dust-ridden, 40 Covered with the blackness (of shame): 41 Such will be the Rejecters of Allah, the doers of iniquity. 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
