Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun Kuwwirat (wound round and lost its light and is overthrown). 1 And when the stars darken, 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 And when the camels are left untended, 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas are set on fire, 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. 8 for what offence was she killed? 9 And when the Writs shall be lain open, 10 when the sky is unveiled, 11 And when the Scorch shall be made to blaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready. 14 So verily, I swear by the planets that recede (i.e. disappear during the day and appear during the night). 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! 21 For, this fellow-man of yours is not a madman: 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 Nor is it the word of the cursed Shaitan, 25 Whither then go ye? 26 This is naught else than a reminder unto creation, 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
