The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is folded up, 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 And when the souls are paired 7 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked 8 For what crime she was put to death; 9 And when the Writs shall be lain open, 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 [on that Day] every human being will come to know what he has prepared [for himself]. 14 I swear by the receding stars, 15 orbiting, disappearing; 16 And the Night as it dissipates; 17 and the morning when it extends, 18 that the Quran is the word of the honorable angelic, mighty Messenger 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; 21 For, this fellow-man of yours is not a madman: 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 And he is of the unseen not a tenacious concealer. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 Verily this is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds: 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. 29

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
