Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble, recording, 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 and the libertines shall be in a fiery furnace 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
