Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Illustrious scribes 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 to burn therein. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
