Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Honorable recorders, 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
