Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Honorable recorders, 11 They know all that you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
