The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe unto the defrauders: 1 those who, when they are to receive their due from [other] people, demand that it be given in full 2 but when they give by measurement or weight to others, they give them less. 3 Do those not think that they shall be raised up 4 On a mighty Day. 5 The day on which men shall stand before the Lord of the worlds? 6 Indeed, the record of the disbelievers is in the lowest place, the Sijjeen. 7 And what could make thee conceive what that that mode inescapable will be? 8 A record [indelibly] inscribed! 9 Woe, on that Day, to those who reject, 10 Who deny the Day of Recompense. 11 And none can deny it but the Transgressor beyond bounds the Sinner! 12 When Our verses are recited to him, he says: 'Fictitious tales of the ancients' 13 No. In fact what they have been doing has rusted their hearts. 14 Verily, from (the Light of) their Lord, that Day, will they be veiled. 15 Then most surely they shall enter the burning fire. 16 and it will be said to them: 'This is that which you belied' 17 Surely the ledger of the pious will be in 'Illiyun (heights above the heights). 18 And what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is? 19 A record [indelibly] inscribed, 20 witnessed by those brought nigh. 21 The virtuous will surely be in bliss, 22 upon couches gazing; 23 Thou wilt recognise in their faces the beaming brightness of Bliss. 24 They will be served the choicest wine, sealed 25 Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss - 26 for it is composed of all that is most exalting 27 a fountain at which do drink those brought nigh. 28 The sinners had been laughing at the believers. 29 and winked at one another as they passed them by. 30 And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; 31 And when they saw them, they said: "Verily! These have indeed gone astray!" 32 But they were not Sent to be guardians over them! 33 So today those who believe shall laugh at the unbelievers; 34 On adorned couches, observing. 35 Have the unbelievers been rewarded what they were doing? 36
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
