The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 and by the promised Day, 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
