Al-Burooj
The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 by the Promised Day, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
