The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the sky (bespangled) with the signs of the Zodiac, 1 And the promised day, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 but all the while God encompasses them [with His knowledge and might] without their being aware of it. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
