The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);- 1 And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is? 2 (It is) the Star of piercing brightness;- 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man consider of what he was created. 5 He was created from spurting fluid, 6 That issueth from between the loins and the breast-bones. 7 Surely He is able to bring him back 8 The Day when secrets will be put on trial, 9 (Man) will have no power, and no helper. 10 By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again. 11 And the earth which splitteth (with the growth of trees and plants) 12 BEHOLD, this [divine writ] is indeed a word that distinguishes between truth and falsehood, 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 But I too am devising a plan. 16 So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while. 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
