The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven and the night-comer 1 Do you know what al-tariq is? 2 (It is) the star of piercing brightness; 3 There is not a soul but over it is a keeper. 4 LET MAN, then, observe out of what he has been created: 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 emanating from between the loins and the ribs. 7 God has certainly power to bring him back (from the dead). 8 On the Day when man's deepest secrets shall be put to the test 9 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. 10 By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again. 11 by earth splitting with verdure, 12 Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil): 13 And it is not a frivolity. 14 Surely they will make a scheme, 15 And I secretly plan. 16 Therefore respite the unbelievers, and delay them for a while. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
