Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
