The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
