The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
