Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
