Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
