The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
