Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Hath there come unto thee tidings of the Overwhelming? 1 On that Day, there shall be downcast faces, 2 Labouring (hard in the worldly life by worshipping others besides Allah), weary (in the Hereafter with humility and disgrace). 3 The while they enter the Blazing Fire,- 4 and will be made to drink from a fiercely boiling spring. 5 no food for them but cactus thorn 6 which will neither fatten them nor satisfy them. 7 Many faces will be joyous on that day, 8 well pleased with the result of their striving, 9 They will live in an exalted garden 10 wherein they will not hear any vain talk. 11 with a flowing spring, 12 Wherein are couches raised 13 and goblets set forth 14 And cushions ranged 15 and carpets outspread. 16 Do they never reflect on the camels and how they were created, 17 And at the Sky, how it is raised high?- 18 And at the Mountains, how they are fixed firm?- 19 And how the earth was outstretched? 20 Therefore advise; indeed you are a proclaimer of advice. (The Holy Prophet is a Remembrance from Allah.) 21 you are not their keeper. 22 Save the one who turns away and disbelieves 23 Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment. 24 To Us they will all return. 25 then upon Us shall rest their reckoning. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
