The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the night when it enshrouds, 1 By the day when it appeareth in glory, 2 And by oath of the One Who created the male and the female. 3 Verily your endeavour is diverse. 4 We shall facilitate the path to bliss 5 and affirmed the Truth of goodness: 6 We shall surely ease him to the Path of Easing; 7 But as for one who is miserly and unheeding, 8 And rejects goodness, 9 We will ease him toward difficulty. 10 his wealth shall not avail him when he perishes. 11 Surely it is for Us to show the Right Way, 12 And truly, unto Us (belong) the last (Hereafter) and the first (this world). 13 Therefore I have warned you of a Fire blazing fiercely (Hell); 14 in which no one will suffer forever except the wicked ones 15 who denied [the truth], and turned away. 16 For, distant from it shall remain he who is truly conscious of God: 17 Who giveth his wealth that he may grow (in goodness). 18 And who hath no favour from anyone to recompense. 19 only seeking the Face of his Lord the Most High; 20 surely, he shall be satisfied. 21
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
