Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the morning brightness, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
