The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
