Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
