The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
