The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and the brooding night! 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
