The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
