The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
