The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
