The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
