Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Striking? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
