The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
