The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
