Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
