The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant? 1 Did He not foil their strategy 2 And He sent against them birds in flocks, 3 which smote them with stone-hard blows of chastisement pre-ordained, 4 Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up. 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
