Believers, do not accept illegal interest in order to increase your wealth many times over. Have fear of God so that you will have everlasting happiness. 130 guard yourself against the Fire prepared for those who deny the truth, 131 And obey Allah and the Messenger, that you may be shown mercy. And hasten to the for-giveness of your Lord and to a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the God-fearing who spend in the way of Allah both in plenty and hardship, who restrain their anger, and forgive others. Allah loves such good-doers." 132 ۞ Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous,- 133 who spend [in His way] in time of plenty and in time of hardship, and hold in check their anger, and pardon their fellow-men because God loves the doers of good; 134 And those who, when they commit an immoral act or wrong themselves, remember Allah and seek forgiveness of their sins – and who forgives sins except Allah? And those who do not purposely become stubborn regarding what they did. 135 Their reward will be forgiveness from their Lord and gardens wherein streams flow and wherein they will live forever. How blessed is the reward of those who labor. 136 Different traditions existed in the past. Travel in the land and find out about the fate of those who rejected the Truth. 137 This is an exposition unto mankind and a guidance and an admonition unto the God-fearing. 138 Do not, then, either lose heart or grieve: for you shall surely gain the upper hand if you are true men of faith. 139 If you have been struck by some misfortune, so they (the disbelievers) too have been struck earlier with the same misfortune; these are the days in which We have allotted turns to people; and so that Allah may make known the believers and may bestow martyrdom to some of you; and Allah does not befriend the unjust. 140 And that Allah may prove those who believe, and may blight the disbelievers. 141 Do you think that you will enter Paradise before Allah tests those of you who fought (in His Cause) and (also) tests those who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)? 142 And certainly you desired death before you met it, so indeed you have seen it and you look (at it) 143
