Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7
God the Almighty always says the truth.
