Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
