Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 Of no avail shall be his wealth, nor what he has acquired. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 and his wife, the carrier of the firewood, 4 Around her neck will be a rope of palm fibre. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
