Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 and so too will his wife who (threw thorns and firewood in the Prophet's way). 4 shall have a rope of palmfiber around her neck! 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
