Thorns (Al-Masad)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him! 2 He will be plunged in flaming Fire, 3 And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. 4 upon her neck a rope of palm-fibre. 5
True are the words of God the Almighty.
