Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill (your obligations to) My Covenant (with you) so that I fulfill (My Obligations to) your covenant (with Me), and fear none but Me. 40 And believe in that I have sent down, confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And sell not My signs for a little price; and fear you Me. 41 And confound not the truth with falsehood, nor hide the truth while ye know. 42 Be firm in devotion; give zakat (the due share of your wealth for the welfare of others), and bow with those who bow (before God). 43 ۞ Command ye mankind to piety and forget yourselves, the while ye read the Book! Understand then ye not! 44 Seek help with the Salat and fortitude: no doubt, Salat is a hard task but not for those obedient servants, 45 who realize that ultimately they shall meet their Lord and shall return to Him. 46
