The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
