Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
