The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 When Shu'aib said to them: "Will you not take heed? 177 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 178 So fear God and follow me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ "Give just measure, and cause no loss (to others by fraud). 181 And weigh with an even balance. 182 And do not wrong men of their things, and do not act corruptly in the earth, making mischief. 183 Have fear of the One who has created you and the generations that lived before you." 184 They said, "You are only of those affected by magic. 185 you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 "Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!" 187 Shuayb said: "My Lord knows well all what you do." 188 But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day. 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 191
